As I watch my daughter eat her way through the library

K has discovered that she can hold a book this week! And place that entire book in her mouth of course.

As I sit at library group storytime and watch all the babes on the floor, collect any available book around them and then proceed to place each of those books vigorously in their mouths, I can't help but think this is the baby version of marking your territory
