Keira spent her first night in her crib in her own room. While I am not sure Regan and I were completely ready for it, she seems to have enjoyed it:

I don't think we slept much that first night - we just listened intently on the monitor for breathing, and when that failed to soothe us, Regan went in to check on her. This is what being a parent is though right? Worrying every second you don't see your child in front of you...
Keira is 3 months, 2 weeks, 2 days old.
Congratulations! It is hard to trust that she will be okay when not in your presence. It gets easier, but actually lasts until she actually moves into her own place! Somehow, then you learn to let go a little.
ReplyDeleteJenna and I slept better once we got the baby monitor with a motion sensor (BebeSounds). It's pretty slick!
