Crafty mom
I will be the first to admit I am not a crafty person. I can't even sew my own buttons for god's sake! However, Miriam was assigned a project in a parenting class she takes with Aidan. She had to make him a picture book, and she asked me if I wanted to make a craft day out of it. It got us out of the house, and quality time at the Fitterer's, so I agreed. In true Mir fashion, we had every conceivable product we would need to publish our own children's story, right down to laminating paper so they would withstand the test of time.

ReplyDeleteWe rocked it, and while we may never catch up to JKR, I say we should give Raincoast books or Random House a run for their money! Scrap book Club anyone?
